How many (registered) Irish are resident in the Czech Republic?

Based on recent data from the Ministry of the Interior, the number of foreigners with a long-term residence permit in the Czech Republic has risen by approximately 150 percent in the past decade, reaching just over 1 million today [ precisely 1,094,090]. Of this figure, Irish citizens count for just 862 [i.e. 0.08%, not even one tenth of one percent] with merely 367 Irish citizens having permanent residence in the Czech Republic, 222 of these being in Prague.

We suspect that the real number of Irish here is signifcantly higher, as EU citizens are not always required to register their residence.
