Despite the gloomy January weather, many brave souls turned out to try their hand at the first CIBCA Pub Quiz of 2025. Competitors arranged themselves into teams of varying size and prepared to do battle. The Quizmaster was as usual unforgiving in his questioning, and whilst some contestants appreciated the quick-fire nature of the qustioning, others deemed it ruthless. In any case a good time was had by all, and in the end, the team "Extra Special" seized the day with 94 points, and claimed the winners' prize. Not far behind were the "Rubber Bandits" at 93 points and "Favour the Brave" with 86 points. Although placed third, Favour the Brave did extremely well in gaining CIBCoin spot prizes along the way.
