Píobairí Strakonice in action at the GAA World Games Waterford 2026 The GAA World Games is a competition that recognises the expansion of Gaelic Games worldwide. Teams from all over the world travel to compete in various codes and categories. The International categories are for homegrown (non-Irish) athletes and the open categories are primarily for more experienced, Irish athletes. Fri 26th June saw CIBCA’s Annual Golf Day take place at Prague City Golf Club Zbraslav. In scorching hot weather and a great course in great condition it was a good day out for all 17 players. A lack of buggies meant the conditions proved too arduous for two of us but the participation continues to grow. Sandwiches, drinks and bananas were provided on the first tee with the first group getting underway at 12:00pm. Challenging conditions saw the top prize taken by Rolf-Jan Z

In sunshine (following a somewhat rainy start to the day) on Saturday June 13, 2026, CIBCA held its Summer Solstice Barbeque at the grill area in Ladronka.
